Multi-Factor Authentication
To access certain parts of your account, we might require you to complete multi-factor authentication. This is an extra layer of security that helps us confirm the person logging in is really you.
How it works
It’s a two-step process:
- You log into to your HOLLYFY account with your username and password
- Go to your Account Settings > Security and tap MFA: Multi-Factor Authentication
- Then, you verify your identity by entering a one-time passcode that we’ll send to your phone or Authenticator app
Why it’s required
This enhanced security measure is required by regional regulations. It’s designed to help protect your personal information, such as your payout details.
How to set it up
First, go to Account settings > Security on a web or mobile browser and add your phone number if you haven’t already. Then:
- Go to Account settings > Security
- From the Set up Multi-factor authentication at the bottom of the page.
- Select your multi-factor authentication preference to receive your one-time passcode—via text (SMS) or an authenticator app—and enter it when prompted
Updating your phone number
Keep your phone number up-to-date so you don’t miss a thing. When you edit your phone number, regulations may require a waiting period of several days after your update, and access to certain parts of your account may be temporarily unavailable if you don’t have another number on your account.
If you’ve requested the reset link more than once, make sure you’re using the right email address. You may also need to disable your email service’s link preview (eg/ Outlook) or mail-scanner feature, which could cause the link to expire before you open it.
